The Home Depot Foundation has been a JAH4WW supporter since 2012. Their long-standing commitment to serve those who serve us has made them one of our most reliable partners.
“A hammer is one of the most dependable tools in any craftsman’s tool belt. It’s capable of taking on many tasks, it has a lot of power behind it and durable enough to last a lifetime.” says Alex Karalexis, JAH4WW Executive Director. “Like The Home Depot Foundation, the hammer gets things done. We are grateful that they continue to partner with us to build homes for veterans around the country.”
“The Home Depot Foundation is proud to partner with Jared Allen Homes for Wounded Warriors to provide specially adapted smart homes that fit the unique needs of our nation’s combat-wounded heroes,” said Sean Walker, Manager, Programs and Strategic Partnerships, The Home Depot Foundation. “Since 2011, the Foundation has invested more than $375 million in veterans causes, and ensuring all veterans have a comfortable, safe place to call home is one of our key priorities to serve those who served our nation.”
The Home Depot Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 public charity, works to improve housing issues facing U.S. veterans, train skilled tradespeople to fill the labor gap and support communities impacted by natural disasters. Since 2011, the Foundation has invested more than a quarter of a billion dollars in veteran-related causes and improved more than 37,000 veteran homes and facilities. Through its volunteer program, Team Depot, Home Depot associates donate their time and skills on our job sites, using their talents to help complete homes for veterans in their communities.
