This year’s Helping Heroes Gala proved to be a huge success in helping raise funds and awareness for Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors (JAH4WW), a nonprofit foundation created to help provide financial assistance and support to injured United States military veterans by building and remodeling handicap accessible homes to suit the individual needs of wounded warriors.
The black-tie event took place at the legendary Palmer House, A Hilton Hotel in the heart of downtown Chicago, Illinois on Friday, November 21, 2014. From a memorable opening reception with heartfelt speeches by Jared Allen, LTC Clint Sundt, and Karen Kelly to a dinner with live auction, and entertainment by James Otto and MetalHead – this year’s Helping Heroes Gala was truly a night to remember!
In addition to Jared Allen’s ongoing participation, the year’s event included contributions and onsite appearances by Tee it Up for the Troops and Chicago Bears’ players, Brandon Marshall and Kyle Long to name a few.
Most importantly, the funds raised by JAH4WW supporters at this year’s gala will go directly to help benefit the lives of Army Sgt. 1st Class Cory Remsburg, Army Sgt. John Ricketts, Sgt. Colin Faust, and Marine LCpl Jed Morgan.
