It takes a community of people, all sharing the common goal of uniting to thank our nation’s heroes for their dedication and sacrifice in the best way we know how. With the support of our partners, we can live out our mission of building accessible homes for critically wounded veterans across the nation.

OUR MISSION
Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors was formed in October of 2009 by retired Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen after he returned home from his USO trip to US Military Bases in the Middle East. Jared was moved by the commitment, dedication, and sacrifices our soldiers make daily to protect our freedom. He wanted to thank every soldier the only way he knew how, by making a positive life-changing difference in the lives of those who need it most.
We recognize that the road to recovery is long, and once a critically wounded veteran leaves the confines of the hospital, they will face new obstacles when they return home.
Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors’ mission is to raise money to build injury-specific, accessible and mortgage-free homes for our critically injured Veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
